1/29-2/5/06 OLIVIA Western Caribbean Cruise ....Do I REALLY need to tell you how amazing this was?? Sister Funk had 2 incredible performances (1st night) leaving Key West to Costa Maya Mexico and because of such an overwhelming response OLIVIA staff asked us to perform at the L Word White party later that week. We met Ilene Chaiken (L Word Creator and Director) and met Daniella Sea (new character this season) and was surprised and happy to hang with B (formerly known as Bitch) who made a guest appearance. We got to jam with Zoe Lewis, Suede, Sweet Baby Jai and caused mayhem and chaos with our favorite comedians: Suzanne Westenhoefer, Renee Hicks and Lisa Koch ( Stainies in my undies always gets me down is still ringing in my head). First, we biked, kayaked and met Cheap-o Felip-o (who only ripped us off a little bit) in Mexico.  Next, we hiked and rode horse back in Guatemala. Lastly, we ate jungle cereal (termites), spotted a rare grison (jungle ferret), and went cave tubing in Belize. Our jobs are so exhausting : ) Wish you all were there to enjoy this incredible experience with us!

DECEMBER 2005

12-8-05 Sputnik (need I say more)~! Quite a nice hidden treasure of a club in Brooklyn. We played in the performance space which was a real treat and we met some very friendly musicans and did I mention that Jen G. walked in on a couple in the darkened bathroom during a private moment?

12-3-05 our show at the Highland Inn, which is an incredible, intimate relaxing Bed and Breakfast in New Hamshire was a lot of fun. We got a chance to snow board at a local ski resort, take an indoor and outdoor hot tub (which we did while it snowed and bearfoot mind you), ate delicious, homemade breakfast at the Inn and performed a close and personal show to the guests at the Inn. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND that our female fans check this place out!

NOVEMBER 2005

11/18/05
NEW SF line-up DEBUT at Kenny Castaway's in NY.
WOW what a trip!@!Lots went on . . . incredible show, Jenn & Amy rocked each tune and sounded like they've been in SF since creation... Bus ride was out of control: overly intoxicated fan (yep got sick), traffic as expected most arrived home at 5:00am the next morning, a lost fan somewhere in the big apple, DAN if you're out there make contact PLEASE, and of course the stolen lint brush. Please read poem below written by a SF fan Kim Steel

I bought it on the very day
I was to take a trip
upon a bus to N.Y. city
to see some gals so hip.
I tucked it neatly in my purse
to keep the lint at bay.
Who knew that someone naughty
would take my brush away?
Now it's sitting idle
in someone else's purse
And I am covered with dog hair
and other things even worse.
Laugh and snicker if you will
at my brush's sad demise
I'll find that brush before too long
with my network of stealthy spies.
The perpetrator will pay the price
of crossing Kimberly Steel
She'll get them back effectively
with vehemence and zeal.

OCTOBER 2005

10-21-05

OCTOBER 13th-16th, 2005
What can I say about P-Town and our 4 shows at Vixen, P-Town's premiere music venue? We played to great crowds, ate some incredible food, and hung with some awesome entertainers like Zoe Lewis & Suzanne Westenhoffer.

SF has been hired to kick off the summer at Vixen during Memorial weekend, so make your plans early

Oct. 9th was a blast as SISTER FUNK played at the Amazing Corn Maze in Brookfield, we even got filthy dirty on the monster truck ride through the corn maze, and got lost in the maze for over an hour and a half.

Oct. 8th, Sister Funk rocked down the house at MUSTANG MARY'S, a very cool restaurant bar, which was packed with lots of ladies and a couple dudes. Great food and atmosphere and did I mention it is right near the casino : )
