Christine

Sign- One Way

Known As- many things…some good, some bad.

My instrument- DRUMS! A black, 5pc Ludwig rocker, double kick pedal and some sweet ass cymbals. If your lucky, I might just bust out with the cowbell!
I’ve also been known to play a mean tambourine.

Favorite Quote- “live for today, dream of tomorrow, learn from yesterday.”

Favorite Sister Funk song- to play would be ‘on the outside,’ but ‘truth will set u free’ and ‘pursuit of the groove” will always be my faves.

Favorite Sister Funk song to sing- “truth” although, u will never hear me sing it outside of band practice.

CDs you'd find in my car- grrrrl rock, country music, and some emo boy bands. and the new Madonna cd.

Best Sister Funk Moments-
1 – getting asked to sit in on songs before I was in the band.
2 - getting inducted into the band.
3 - The casino bus trip/playing the casino.
4 - Having moments on-stage with the other sisters…feeling as if we’re 1 musical being instead of 5 separate people.
5 - signing various body parts of fans...thats always a plus!

My Dream- to win a grammy.

Spare time spent: shopping, library outings, gymming, ps2, outdoor activities, partying with my loved ones.

Best Known for- corny jokes.

Past to current Musical Credits/Titles:
Oh geeze..well, I started playing saxophone when I was 10 in the school band, which I continued throughout high school. I was also in the drumline in the highschool marching band.
I got my first drumset at age 13 and also started playing guitar and bass.
my first band was at age 14 called chapter 9, then I went on to ankora at age 17…I played and had great times with a bunch of other bands that never left the garage.
Then I was in sweet lucy at age 21…after that, ankora re-grouped in 2002..then I moved to Baltimore in 2003 and played with a few other bands, the last one being The Christine’s..which has been on a hiatus since I left Baltimore in 2006.
I had a few other projects since moving back to Ct, one of which is my own solo work were I play all instruments and do all the recordings.
I currently rock out with sister funk.
